The Inquirer reports that Senator Mar Roxas is worried that thousands of Filipino workers in factories making garments and electric appliances, and assembling automobiles may lose their jobs if JPEPA is implemented without the government first setting up safety nets. From the same paper, the JPEPA is reported to test Palace ties with the Senate. Also, the JPEPA is junked from the agenda of the final days of the 13th Congress Senate.
